Who is Curious Pen?

Hello! Thank you for taking some time to visit my website! My name is Sophia. I’d love to give you a little backstory of who I am and why i started this. It all started when i was about 10. Okay, I’m not going to go that far. I have had a passion for Calligraphy for what seems to be almost all my life. However in this day and age, being “creative” seems to be just a luxury. The idea of working full time as a Calligrapher and Designer is, of course, the dream. My dream. Is it realistic? Some would say no, however I think and believe that if you truly want to make a dream or secular passion a reality, you have to APPLY yourself! The saying is “do what you love, and you’ll never work a day in your life”. Well, I’d like to do what I love, and work as diligently and efficiently as I can, while still having fun! My goal is to show others that Calligraphy isn’t a dying art. It is in fact an art that lives and breaths with every stroke. I started by just being Curious, using any and every medium I could, until I found an art form that truly brings my heart happiness. I’d love to share it with you, and hopefully down the road, you can be inspired to be Curious as well.
